TIPS:  T-21.com  Web Site

The T-21.com  Web Site is Designed to Allow
You to Rapidly Find What You Want.

NAVIGATION LINKS.

T-21.com  uses only well-defined links to other pages.   These always appear in the following format:   Linkname  -or-   LINKNAME.

Locate the tip of your cursor on one of these (above) and it will change color.   One click with your left mouse button will take you to that link's destination.  (Try clicking one of the links, above;  it will navigate you back to this point.)   Note:  Links may appear in three different colors, similar to the following illustrations:

  • "Bold Blue"  for links that you have not visited recently.
  • "Bold Red"  for links which are touched by your cursor - ready to be 'clicked.'
  • "Bold Purple"  for links that you've have recently visited, but may still be viewed again.
  •  [NoteButtons will always appear in underlined, Bold Blue - not Red or Purple]

W
EB SITE STRUCTURE.

To most efficiently use the T-21 Web Site, it's important to understand how it is structured.

  • The Highest Level is "T-21 Central" - our Home Page.

  • The First Level Down from "T-21 Central" is the Division level (e.g. -  Graphics Division,  Office Support Division,  Research Division,  Web Site Services Division, and so on).

  • The Next Level Down from the Division level is the Department level.   For example, within the "Graphics" Division, there are several Departments, each with a different specialty, including:

Charts / Graphs / Diagrams  (specialty)
  Facility / Space Planning
  (specialty)
    Logos
  (specialty)
      Maps
  (specialty)
        Signs
  (specialty)
          Other Service Specialties ...

  • Below these Departments, there can be finer breakdowns.   For instance, below the Graphics Division there is a Logos Department;  below this Department, there are two types of Logos:  Semi-Custom and Custom service options.

This hierarchal structure makes it easier for you to find what you want and never get "lost."   You may jump to any level you desire with one click.  In concept, the T-21 Web Site structure looks something like the illustration, below (this is only a very abbreviated example of the actual structure):

  • Every Division Web Page will contain links, in a horizontal line, to Departments below it and to "T-21 Central" (Home Page) and the "Contact Us" Web Pages above it.

  • Each Department Web Page will contain similarly structured links to Services within it as well as links to its Division and to "T-21 Central" and the "Contact Us" Web Pages above it.

  • Other "view and close" Informational Web Pages may also be included in these horizontal link bars.

N
AVIGATION OPTIONS.

You'll notice that, at the top and the bottom of T-21 Web Pages, there is either a choice of clicking a link on a Menu Bar (a horizontal row of links) - or a notice to close the page with your browser.   We'll examine each of these in turn:

MENU BARS.   These are common on T-21 Web Pages.   At both the top and the bottom of these Web Pages, you are presented with a horizontal line of links to other Web Pages.

The order of the links is generally:  'most detailed' on the left - going to 'broadest' on the right.   Therefore, a Department Web Page will first link to Services within it on the left - then, as you look rightward, it's links will go up to its Division's Web Page, then to "T-21 Central" (Home Page) and the "Contact" Web Page (see diagram, above).   Just remember:

Detailed   >  >  >  >  >  Broader

This structure allows you to quickly navigate to any point in the T-21 Web Site.   An illustration (not operative), taken from our Research Division, is shown below:

GENERAL
Research
MARKET
Research

Note that, starting at the left, the first four links are Departments within the Research Division.  Since this menu is at the Division level, the next level up is "T-21 Central" (Home Page) and "Contact" Web Pages, which are displayed on the right.

INFORMATIONAL PAGES.
These T-21 Web Pages are "FYI" pages, which may be linked from a number of different places in the T-21 Web Site.   They are meant to be read, then closed - thereby returning you to the exact spot where you were, prior to reading the Informational Web Page.   On these Web Pages, you will see messages at the top and bottom, similar to the following:

CLOSE  THIS  PAGE  AFTER  VIEWING
( Use Your Browser's
"X"  Button,  Above )

This message indicates that, when you have finished reading that page, you should use the "x" button on your browser to close the page.   Close Web Pages with your browser only when you see this instruction.   The close page procedure varies only slightly in different browsers - for example:

  • MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER™ - CLOSE THE PAGE WITH THE BROWSER'S "X" BUTTON, LOCATED AT THE TOP-RIGHT OF YOUR VIDEO SCREEN'S WINDOW.

  • "TABBED BROWSERS" (e.g. - FIREFOX™) - CLOSE THE RIGHTMOST 'TAB' WITH ITS "X" BUTTON  (LOCATED IN A BAR, JUST ABOVE THE WEB SITE CONTENT).
