PAYMENTS
To T-21.
After
4/1/99, when our payment plan was modified - payments to T-21 are made like
those for any other online- or mail-order product:
Pay
On Order. In our continuing efforts to streamline T-21
and make it super-efficient and inexpensive for our customers, we instituted
this method to eliminate Accounts Receivables and keep our billing rates
low, so we no longer have to pass along costs of slow-paying or
defaulted accounts to other conscientious customers. Here's how it works:
T-21
PAYMENT POLICY STATEMENT:
- Payments to T-21
may be made by Credit Card,
Bank Transfer, or Retainer Check.
Funds are verified prior to
initiation of service. Credit Card payments are
usually verified immediately. Bank transfers can
take 1 - 2 days (more during Holiday periods), and physical
checks may take 4 - 10 days (including mailing and
verification); certified checks verify faster. Credit Cards are recommended.
- Products
and Job Services, quoted on a one-price basis, are paid-in-full on
order, except on large
efforts that can be reasonably segmented into discreet advance
payments.
- Time-based work requires an
initial retainer payment, covering an estimate of work
plus ancillary costs (if any) to be spent in a short
period (usually less than 2 weeks and up to 1 month). Actual T-21 work and
costs are then charged against this work retainer until it is
depleted or the job is completed, whichever comes first.
- If a retainer for completion of a project is not received,
project activity is stopped until a replenishing payment is made;
no negative balances will be accrued. If no further payment is received, the job is cancelled and
any products
produced to-date are delivered to the customer.
- If work is
cancelled by a T-21 customer, prior to completion,
only the charges for work and ancillary costs (if any) up to
that point are charged to that customer.
- Refunds
of Account Balance. Within
5 working days of T-21's Customer's request, and in
accord with the method originally used for payment to T-21
by the customer, refunds for the un-charged balance of any
prepaid work / ancillary costs will be: Credited
and held in their T-21 Customer Account, Refunded to
the Customer's credit card, or Refunded by a T-21 check.

BENEFITS TO YOU:
It
Saves.
This plan has been so successful, we have
reduced our rates, charged to you, by 11.2%
since we started the program.
It has reduced
T-21's paperwork and overhead and allows us to keep our rates low.
It can also reduce your overhead burden. And, of course, you still receive a
full and timely
accounting of all charges and account status and prompt
refunds of account residuals, when requested.

It
Protects.
We
recommend that our customers use Credit Cards for anything that
they buy from anyone online or by mail order. Why?
For all purchases by Credit Card,
customers get maximum security:
Most modern
credit cards are
fraud protected and appeals can be made directly through the card
issuer for products or services not
received, without costly legal proceedings. However, you still have
the right to
pursue legal proceedings if you want or need to.
With Credit Cards, you have a third
party (the bank) who intervenes - without cost to you - to settle the matter.
In contrast, when you issue a check to someone, you may have to go to
court (unless the recipient voluntarily refunds your money).
While a
disputed charge is in "Contest" you usually don't have to pay the charge or the interest on
it;
("Contest Period" occurs while the Bank considers the
dispute evidence). If there is a case of dishonest activity, the Bank will
remove the charge from your account or refund it to you (if
you previously paid it).
|
It
Buys You Time.
After you make a charge, you usually have
an interest-free Grace Period
to produce the actual cash to pay the bill. And when you need a service or product
now
- and don't have the
cash, credit cards are an option for short-term financing, to bridge
small, short cash flow gaps.
|
T-21 has never had a customer put
a charge in "Contest."
We always strive to keep our customers
happy by honoring our commitments. You can rest assured that you
will be treated fairly by T-21.
But, isn't it nice to know
that you have all of this other protection?
