Computer Purchase Analysis and Recommendations

 

Computers can help with your workload - no question about it.   But, when it comes to buying them, it's not wise to be at the mercy of salesmen, who profit by selling you the most expensive system - whether you need it or not.   T-21's customers trust our advice, due to our track record of integrity and expertise and the fact that we have no vested interest in encouraging you to buy any particular brand or technology.   You just get unbiased information at T-21.

Here's a T-21 example of one client who needed a computer system:

TRUCKING COMPANY. 
 

Problem.   The Office Manager of a regional trucking firm contacted T-21 for advice on what computers and peripherals they should buy for an office upgrade.   He said, "I looked at what other companies are doing and talked to sales people, and I even got advice from friends, but they're all different.   I'm not sure of what to do."
 

Plan.   A small T-21 Computer System Advisory Team did an analysis of the company's budget, environment, office workflow, data storage demands, communications needs, software requirements, and future business plans.   Then, after balancing the company's needs with current technology and costs, they drafted a preliminary plan and sent it to the manager.   On his approval, the Team wrote final equipment specifications that could be used for obtaining price quotations;  these included technical aspects of the system and other considerations, including service availability.

The TM offered the company the choice of "price shopping" the system or having their T-21 Team do it for them.  They opted to try shopping for the system themselves, so his Team recommended several sources from which he could obtain quotes.
 

Result.   With the Team's specifications in hand, the Manager obtained quotes.   He received several and faxed them to his TM.   After his Team commented on each quote, he purchased a system locally.   He reports that the system has worked well for them and he has referred other companies to T-21.
