Problem.
The owner of an electrical contracting firm contacted
T-21, saying that his company needed a new computer system, but he didn't want to take his or other employees' time to set-up, test, and configure it.
He said, "We went through this a few years back and had
confusion, problems, downtime, phone calls, manuals, and wasted
time. I've got a business to run and I want a system to be
ready for us to use when it hits the door, if that's possible."
Action. His T-21
Team Manager (TM) assured him that we have a program, designed
to do exactly what he wanted. The TM formed a
System Team
to analyze the company's needs for equipment and software. The
resulting specifications were sent to the owner for
confirmation. The system was ordered and drop-shipped at
T-21 technical offices, where it was set up, software was
installed, and a secure Wireless Network was established to link the computers together.
All of the desired changes were made to the software, the complete system tested, the hardware 'burned-in' for a week, and complete instructions were written, detailing what to do when it arrived at the company.
Then, the entire system was re-packaged and shipped to the owners.
On arrival, the company needed only to place the hardware where they wanted it and plug it in, as
instructed.
Result. The complete
system took the company about 2 hours from un-boxing to full use
- ready to go. They started using it
immediately and reported that it was even easier than they had
expected. Later, they arranged for T-21 to do the
routine maintenance and updates for them.
